Water descents are transverse slope cascades (DW-10003), not an independent ditch type. They can only connect to half-round ditches (Type 9 at the platform shoulder, Type 8 on intermediate benches) to convey runoff safely down slopes.
2. Transverse Hierarchy
Crest: Type 11 / 5 (top of cut slope). Formation: Type 1 (cut) / Type 9 (shoulder fill). Berm: Type 8 Bench ditch (fills > 8m). Toe: Dissipator + Type 7/4 Ditch + Riprap. Outermost: Channels A–C & Diversions.
3. Energy Dissipator Basins
Standard fixed point basins (1.2m × 1.8m × 0.4m drop per DW-10002/DW-10003) positioned strictly as point structures at ditch/channel outfalls and at the base of water descents entering toe ditches.
4. Embankment Riprap Armor
Continuous longitudinal stone armor ($D_{50}=100\text{--}200\text{mm}$) placed along erodible toes/slopes over a span (DW-10004); never represented as cross-drainage structures.
